En el recorrido se visitará el Casco Viejo, paseando estre sus calles se pueden observar edificios emblemáticos del Bilbao de antaño, y el Ensanche bilbaíno, creando ante el impresionante boom demográfico provocado por el desarrollo minero e industrial, con su nuevo eje, la ´Gran Vía a la que fueron desplazados toeos los centros financieros de la Villa, un área con numerosos estilos arquitectónicos visibles en sus magníficos edificios. Finalmente el museo Guggenheim nos dará una visión del Bilbao del siglo XXI. |

During this guided visit around our town, we will leasn about the History of Bilbao feom its foundation untill today. We will take a walk through the old streets of El Casco Viejo (where emblematic buildings of former Bilbao will be seen) as well as El Ensanche, a part of the town which had to be built because of demographic needs. The Gran Via is a very important streetwith a wide range of erchetectonic styles in its buildings. This tour will be finished with a visit to the Guggenheim Museum, which epitomizes the Bilbao of the XXI century. |

Visita guiada por la Villa para posteriormente subir a Artxanda - uno de los pulmones de Bilbao- y al barrio de Begoña donde se encuentra la Basílica dedicada a la Patrona de Vizcaya y construída en trazado gótico a principios del siglo XVI Comida en Bilbao. Por la tarde, visita al Museo Guggenheim receptor de las más importantes colecciones de Arte Moderno y Contemporáneo. |

First, a guided visit will take us around the town and afterwards we will go up to Artxanda (one of the large green areas whichsurround Bilbao and to the well-known district of Begoña named after the virgin of biscay, where the basilic of Begoña, a beautiful catholic monument built at the beginning of the XVI century is. Dinner at Bilbao. In the afternoon we will make for the Guggenheim Museum, an art Gallery with one of the most important collection of modern and contemporany Art in the world |

THE COAST OF BISCAY- GERNIKA |

BAKIO: We will visit San Juan de Gastelugatxe, a small island, one of the most typical places in the Basque coast on top of which there is a shrine dedicated to this saint. BERMEO: An important fishing port, the history of the fishing world can be seen in the fisherman´s museum. Other places to be visited are its old part of the village and St. Eutemia´s church. MUNDAKA: Worth seeing in this coastal village are the port and its promenade where one gets a perfect view of the mundaka estuary. GERNIKA: Considered as the spiritual capital of Basque people; Gernika is where the location of Casa de Juntas, the famous gernika´s tree (the symbol of all the Basque Institutions) is. Apart from the important monuments in this village is the peace park and on monday there is the posibility of watching a cesta punta match at the Jai Alai fronton.
